Your data is primarily stored locally in a database on your device. The app is designed for fully offline use without requiring registration. However, for greater security of your valuable data, you can use the optional encrypted backup to your private Google Drive.
What is the GPS accuracy? expand_more
In open terrain and with a clear sky, a modern phone reaches an accuracy around 1 meter (in a forest or under a cloudy sky the accuracy decreases). This is fully sufficient for recording finds while metal detecting. The app automatically records location for every find.
